On 16th May 2013 there was an international transmission of otological and neurootological sugeries organized by LION society. 16 departments from the whole world (including Brasil, Canada, Germany, England, France, Poland, Duabi and Italy) have participated. The University ENT Department in Poznan presented surgery of otosclerosis using CO2 laser and cochlear hybrid implantation in a patient with profound high frequency hearing loss. Very good quality of video from Poznan and dry surgical field were emphasised by organizeres in Utrecht.
