16-21 March 2015 - Guest from Sweden visited our Department
Two doctors from Sweden, members of Scandinavian Otolaryngological Society, have arrived to our Department for training in otosurgery. They have participated in everyday activities at the Department, mainly on the operating theatre. They have assisted in the surgeries: stapedotomy, chronic otitis media with cholesteatoma, subtotal petrosectomy, myringoplasty, an also in two otogenic complications ? abscess of the cerebellum with the sigmoid sinus thrombosis and multifistulas of the labyrinth in the ear with cholesteatoma. They were very interested in Polish Program of Hearing Screening in Neonates. The have shared with a lot of information how ENT is organized in Sweden.
