Head and Neck Surgery
The 15th Session of Live Surgery was organized at 22nd December an it was titled "Day of ENT Live". We have prepared a more extensive program than during other sessions. Apart from surgery of otosclerosis we hav shown a surgery of parotid tumor removal and a lecture about treament of Meniere disease, as well as presentation of 3 interesting clinical cases.
The transmission was done from 2 different rooms: lecture hall and operating theatre. For organizing this event, lasting several hours, the Poznan Supercomputer and Network Center has used professional transmission car and 6 video cameras. There were 7 specialists in informatics and 7 ENT doctors involved in this project.
There were also a history photos from previous sessions presented.
According to PSNC measurements - the transmission was observed by over 1000 people.
