13th Internet Session of Live Surgery was held on 27th March. The topic was a surgery of parotid gland neoplasm. Professor Malgorzata Wierzbicka has performed superficial partial parotidectomy with the preparation of the main trunck and all the branches of the facial nerve. It has enabled total removal of the tumor (probably multiform adenoma). During the surgery the procedure was explained in detalis. There were 14 questions.
The first time IT section from PCSS has used a new technique of video and audio transmission.
According to our telemetric measurements, approx. 800 people have participated in the session.
The next session of live ENT surgery will be held on 20 May 2014.
