12th Internet Session of Live Surgery was held on 14th November. The topic was a surgery of parotid gland neoplasm. A 38 years old woman had already undergone one surgery with partial resection done by a general surgeon. We have performed a superficial parotidectomy with an exposure of all facial nerve branches. The facial nerve was very extended with unusual division in a small branches.
The session has taken approx. 2 hours. According to our telemetric measurements, approx. 600 people have participated in the session. Over 20 questions were asked.
The coorganizer was, as always, the Poznan Super-Computer Center.
