Head and Neck Surgery
We convey the very sad news for us about the death of prof. Bogdan Rydzewski. After completing his studies, he worked at the Clinic for over 20 years. Here he obtained a specialization, doctorate and habilitation, then took the position of the head of the laryngology department of the Municipal Hospital. Franciszka Raszeja in Poznań until his retirement. He was the first Polish ENT specialist who implanted a bone implant. He was a well-known and respected otologist. He gained his skills, among others in Wurzburg on the Humboldt Scholarship. Very liked by colleagues, friendly and willing to help others. He went down in golden letters in the history of Polish and Poznań laryngology. We remembered the Professor at the clinic's 100th anniversary celebration, not knowing how seriously he was already. It will remain in our memory.
